Braided Ponytail Sequence
Ponytails are undeniably one of the popular styles among the classic hairdos. They are the default hairstyle for women who have medium - length to long hair and are quite effective in keeping the hair in place without losing the feminine touch. It is also the cheapest and fastest hairstyle to make, only needing clear elastics and about 1 minute to secure everything in place.
But being popular has its disadvantages and the ponytail is already overused for most people. It already looks boring and predictable that it never really stands out. Don’t worry because we will help you in achieving an eye-catching yet easy-to-do Braided Ponytail. For this hairstyle, we recommend patience and determination in mastering the steps before showing it off.
Materials:
- Brush
- Hair Elastics
- Hair Spray
Instructions:
1. Brush your hair and fix the tangles. Part your hair on the side and take a section from the front left side to your left temple, as shown in the model above.
2. Divide this section into three and form a fat braid out of it. You can stretch it out for it to look thicker. Be careful in constructing the braid so it would look neat after.
3. After braiding, secure the end with a hair elastic.
4. Gather your remaining hair PLUS the braid in a ponytail. Don’t tie it too low or too high. Kindly refer to the picture for the right height. Secure the ponytail with an elastic.
5. Remove the elastic on the first braid. Hide the elastic of the ponytail by getting a small section of hair from the end of the braid and wrapping it around the elastic.
6. Flatten flyaway hair and secure the hairdo with a hairspray.
